Almost to my first payment

I’ve had AdSense on the most popular part of my site, the Favicon Gallery, for a while now and it’s almost to $100, which is the level required by Google to make a payment. Recently, I’ve added Asense, Search and Referrals throughout my site. So, I think I’m done with this one. Sure isn’t going to make me rich, and won’t pay for me to move to a real hosting service, but it beats a stick in the eye! :)

AdSense, Search and Referrals

I just added AdSense and Search code to each of my websites sections over the weekend. It’s taken forever, but I’m up to about $85 from my Favicon Gallery. I also added ads and search to my Sudoku and Family Tree pages. Hopefully by adding ads to the other sections, additional $$ will come in. I’ve also added some referral buttons to my home page, but I don’t think many people visit there.

Anyway, should be another few months before I have the full $100 required to make a payment…I’ll have to be sure not to spend it all in one place! :)

Search code added

I’ve added the AdSense Search code to my site, so we’ll see if anyone uses it. I modified the code quite a bit to make it fit into my site better, but I’m still not 100% happy with the results. Still have a bit of tweaking to do, but it’ll work for now.

Looking into the Search functionality

I currently have AdSense on my site, but want to see if adding the search functionality will increase my revenue at all. Need to look into this and see what it’s all about.

Anyone have any experience with it?
