$200 per payday. Take me 50 paychecks. That is less than two years…. I still have that long to work. I’ll be 56 then. My comfort zone getting more and more pad as I progress…. this on top of my 401K maxout…. I need to stay on this track…..

Nice Round Number 2 months ago

I have never had this much ready cash in the bank. I am not counting 401Ks or IRAs. I have rarely had more than $5K that wasn’t due out. I am maxing long term savings. Now that I am in that condition I would like to have a buffer between me and the next little emergency that may come up. $40K is nice. This is going to take a year to build up. I don’t have much excess cash in my budget.
