I just finished Zodiac by Neal Stephenson. Problem is it’s not mine. A friend loaned it to me somewhere around 6 months ago. I finally got to it and finished it and returned it to him today. So officially this isn’t a book I own but it’s been in my possession for so long maybe it counts. So let’s mark this one off as 1/2 down. A bunch more to go.

The inspiration for me to create this goal was during the reading of the 4 Ringworld books by Larry Niven. I realized that I just keep buying new books when I have a bunch on my shelf just waiting for me. I highly recommend the Ringworld books.
I have a pretty eclectic idea of books I like. For the most part I’m a sci-fi guy, but I tend to get stuck reading a bunch of books by one author. I have a bunch of books I just enjoy the subjects of. I’ve been reading a lot more and I just need to stop buying new books and start reading the ones I have. Right after I finish The Golden Compass series…that I just bought…two days after Christmas…oh well. This year will be different.
