My husband cut up the credit cards. Probably the best thing he could have done, even though, at the time, I thought he had cut off my right arm. I mean, there wasnt THAT much owing on them (I like to tell myself that). But now we are paying them off, ever so slowly, I realize how much trouble we could have gotten into if we kept them. Still, they DO come in handy for emergencies…....
