more recipes for my recipe book from Waitrose today – I do like the recipe cards which you can get from supermarkets!
Anyway, am hoping to be able to mark this goal as done tomorrow as I hope to be able to sit down and write up a pile of recipes into my book…
Ive been through some old magazines and cut out recipes to put in my new recipe book! Very exciting (am also putting this down to nesting, as is remarkably organised and unlike me).
Looking forward to collecting a few more things to go in there though, and writing up some recipes which I have sourced from the internet.
This goal should be complete by Tuesday – hurrah!
I had this as a goal for a long time, and I just never quite got round to it… however, as I have just spent the last 3 days exploring recipes, and cooking a mountain of food, I have decided that I really want to achieve this goal now :o)
Sooooo, while I was out today I popped into Paperchase and located a beautiful recipe book for me to fill in, and next week Ill set about recording my recipes in it. Will be so handy to have around the kitchen – as it will remind me of all the different things I can cook when I am suffering from baby-brain and cant think what to do!
Im going to buy my cookbook to fill in next week. I am going to use ‘cookbook’ loosely as I am also going to include any of my healthy juices or things which I think should go in.
I thought I could start to make a list on here of what I will put in it though, as it will take me a while to remember what I want to include!
So far, I have
Toad-in-the-hole a la meffie
Chicken & chashew nut Curry
Chilli con Carne
Maple & pecan muffins
Breakfast enerygy muffins
Super brekkie juice
I know there are more things thought… need to remember what they are to add to my list!
They have these beautiful recipe books, which you can fill in yourself.
I resisted from buying one today as I am trying to watch my spending, but I think in order to achieve this goal, I might have to go back there next payday and get one!
Yay! This goal has suddenly developed momentum again…
is that last year I learnt to cook and prepare some nice meals. All quite basic, but still, I was well impressed with myself.
The trouble is, I forget what I can cook. And it would be a nice sense of accomlishment to start my own cookbook to put the recipies in which I can make, and to add new ones to it.
And it makes sense, it will mean all my recipies are in the same place and I dont waste valuable time trying to remember how to make things!
