I’ve set myself a deadline for writing my million words: by my birthday in 2010. That works out to about 816 words a day; so that I don’t drive myself insane keeping count, I am going to count it in pages, or about 3 pages a day for 3500 pages total. That comes out to about half the speed of NaNoWriMo.

They say the first million words anyone writes are crap (or, more politely, “rubbish”, or, more charitably, “practice”).
I havnt been keeping track so far, but I’m going to get that million words out of the way.
