Yeah.
Well I did it! I know you’re never “finished” with learning guitar. With music you’re always learning.
But my goal formed back when I seen this guy play in a bar, and he was hitting out with all the guitar solos from the classics. My jaw was on the floor, this guys fingers were on fire and it sounded so powerful!
So that’s what I wanted. I wanted people to hear me and see me play and to see the awe form on THEIR faces. I wanted to be the fastest, most powerful, most melodic, most musical guitarist they’ve ever seen. And I managed to get this response out of most people I play for, so I consider myself a learned enough guitarist to say “Ok, I’ve done it, I’ve learned guitar!”
It’s part of me now. I’m so glad I done it.
