J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire  — 1 year ago

I’d forgotten so much about it that the surprises worked on me again :) Other parts though dragged along somewhat, that’s why I didn’t read this book as fast as the others.
Still, it’s really interesting to read the books again, now that I know how things will develope and end. Ms. Rowling did an excellent job.

J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban  — 1 year ago

Well, what can I say? It’s 4:00 in the morning and I have just finished this book – a reread. I knew who it would end at still couldn’t put it aside.
I’ll regret it, when my little daughter will wake me up in about 2 hours … ;)

J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets  — 1 year ago

Hah, this is fun.
Already started book 3 :)

J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone  — 1 year ago

I started reading Mark Twains Innocents Abroad, but I’m in a Harry-Potter-fever, I had to put Twain aside (philistine me) and grab my HP-books for a reread. Lucky me, those books are in the BBC-list ;)

J. R. R. Tolien - Lord of the Rings  — 1 year ago

I’ve enjoyed it this time even more than when I read it the first time.

I’m taking a short break from reading the books of this list for reading HP 7 ;)

Roald Dahl: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory  — 1 year ago

Oh, what a wonderful book!
But it is really a torture to read when you’re trying to cut down on your candy consumption:

”... the smell of roasting coffee and burnt sugar and melting chocolate and mint and violets and crushed hazelnuts and apple blossom and caramel and lemon peel …”

Hmmmmmm!

And I just love the cover:

A. A. Milne - Winnie the Pooh  — 1 year ago

What a lovely (and fast) read.
I’m looking forward to reading it to my daughter one day.

C. S. Lewis: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe  — 1 year ago

I read this a few weeks ago, no need to read it again.
It was ok, but I did get through the next book. For some reason I just don’t get hooked by it.

Right now I’m (re)reading Lord of The Rings.

Books Books Books!  — 1 year ago

I have read quite a few of these books, but I’m very much looking forward to rereading them – as well as catching up on all the reads I haven’t done yet.
