save more money

ALL my pay goes straight into my bank account. I mean, i’m still at school, a full-time student, so i only earn about $85 a week – but considering i don’t spend any, in an average month i get about $340. But i earn about $260 in for every week of the holidays. I allow myself to spend $75 out of my bank acount every month – it’s only fair, i need SOME spending money.

I also iron for my family, and if consistent i can earn about $50 a week – not much but that pays for movie tickets and lunch when i’m out.

Also, i have a 5 and 10 pieces jar, and eventually it all adds up. My money box is for any spare change i have.

So in the end, i have 4 different ways of earning and saving money, and i am consisten with these methods. I think i’ve completed this goal… i am so ticking it off!!

since all my pay is going straight into my bank account i don’t have immediate acces to it. Believe it or not, this is actually working in my favour. I’m way too lazy to take money out of my bank account. So i’m just watching my bank balance rise. I don’t plan to spend any of the money yet.

I have around $85 going in every week – so $340 a month. It mightn’t sound like much, but doing the calculations shows that at this rate, i’ll be saving $4080 dollars a year…wow. i’ll have the perfect eyesight i’ve always dreamed of in no time.

Now that i have a job, my pay is deposited straight into my bank account. I have chosen NOT to use my pin card, because if i did i know i wouldn’t save any money at all.

So rather than be broke, i’m watcing my bank account grow and living off the money i earn weekly fr ironing my family’s clothes.

My goal is to save enough money for Lasik eye surgery – i need approximately $5000. im only at $1000 now, but if i keep up this routine and don’t spend too much i’ll hopefully be rid of the dreaded glasses before i’m 18!

Christmas, all my money is going towards presents, so this goal is kinda on hold until the new year.
