I'm going to mark this one as done 2 years ago

because it does seem to be mostly or entirely related to my back injury. Which is tremendously better recently.

Thank GOD.

Better 2 years ago

It seems it’s quite possible that all I have to do to accomplish this goal, is to wait—and RELAX.

My colon hydrotherapist thinks it’s stress. My chiropractor thinks it’s due to my injured vertebra in my lower back, partially obstructing the nerve transitions from brain to colon. My back is continuing to heal—not fast enough for me; but Dr. Bonecruncher does think I’ll return to better-than-ever functioning, including my digestion.

In any case, I relaxed this weekend and experienced some improvement.

So I may not pay too much attention to this goal until my back is healed. ‘Cause I think I’m doing all that I am able to do. Besides toxic medications, which I won’t touch.

for a very long time. But because people don’t generally talk about such matters, and are socialized to feel shame about the topic, there is generally very little awareness out there.

I was victim to that problem too—of insufficient awareness/information. So I don’t really know how long I’ve had this problem because I wasn’t paying any attention to it for years.

Not having a fully functional colon causes a lot of problems, including: increased risk of colon cancer, auto-intoxication (body choking on its own wastes), body odor, increased risk of colon cancer, discomfort, bloating, difficulty regulating body weight, fatigue, fuzzy thinking/”brain fog”, and more.

Thus far I have tried all sorts of remedies. None works for very long. Some haven’t worked at all.

I have tried: colon hydrotherapy (works great temporarily), enemas, psyllium, oat bran, aloe, prunes, prune juice, probiotics, tons of water, exercise (lord knows I do tons of that!) and several intestinal cleanses. Results: NOTHING. the problem has continued to worsen over the years.

Last night I read about a specific mineral deficiency that is said to cause constipation. I read the document (you can pay $37 to download it) and lo and behold, I have every symptom it describes. I also have most of the lifestyle factors it says leads to this deficiency. Including intense exercise, coffee drinking and stress.

So I went to get my supplements this evening and swallowed some. I have a hunch this one’s going to help me a LOT. I will post the results.
