its not really an every day task for me, but its definitely a regular part of my week… so i’m checking it off of the list. i’ll continue to maintain the practice because i see how much i am figuring out on paper and i really like having those written pieces to look back on.

since i revised my focus for this goal, i’ve made much more progress… writing in my gratitude journal, writing recommendation letters, writing in a diary about a new crush, writing emails, cards, & thank you notes to friends & family. i’m keeping this one on the list because i’m not sure that its an automatic part of my routine yet… but i’m getting back in the habit of putting pen to paper! and that’s good news!
The more I’ve gotten into my 43things, the more I’m more aware of the rest of the stuff on the list. Write a book wasn’t REALLY a goal for me… but writing is. Notes to friends, journal entries for myself… these are what I want to be writing TODAY. If I ever decided to write a book, that’s fine… but I don’t think that’s where my heart is for now.
