get closer to God

Though I said that I reached this goal, I want it to be clear that I am no where near done. The Christian journey is one that lasts a lifetime. I am excited about what God has in store for me…

I have definitely gotten better at tithing, but I need to be consistent. I need and want to get to the point where I tithe no matter what else is going on…I truly believe that it will actually cause a finance surplus.

I can’t believe how far I’ve come in the past few months. God is truly working some things out in me and through me…I’m excited!

The reason why I’m afraid to get closer to Him is because I’m afraid of what (who) I may lose. What sacrifices I will have to make. But you know what, if I lose them I never had them. I have to trust Him. I have to know that what He has is far better than anything I can get on my own. It will be hard, but in the end, it will be for the best.
