Maybe I don't need to get up early!  — 3 months ago

I have not been succesful in trying to get up early and i decided that it’s unecessary. I don’t sleep all that late so I don’t see any harm in the time that I role out of bed. The important thing is that I make it out of the house on time and that I’m not late anywhere. One of the reasons I am trying to wake up earlier is to go to the gym but I think I might have worked somthing out with my boss where she will let me leave early to go afer work. If she comes through and lets me do that then I won’t have to get up early! Yeah!

I bet life would be easier if I could get up earlier in the morning  — 3 months ago

I somewhat consider myself a morning person. I have 3 days off a week and I like to get up early on each of those days and get as much done as I can, early in the day so that I can relax in the evening. But when it comes to the other 4 days that I go to work I just cannot get myself out of bed! And it’s not like I hate my job or anything…it’s just that I have really long days and I don’t get to do a whole lot of the things that I love to do, like my hobbies. (I’m at work for 11 hours and I travel about an hour total to and from work so about 12 hours of my day is commited to work.) I have really poor eating habits and part of that is because I don’t take the time to eat what is in my kitchen; instead I grab stuff on the go on my way to work and once I get there I have no lunch to eat so I constantly eat out at fast food places or the cafeteria which has no nutritional value. I think if I got up earlier in the morning I could eat breakfast and make my lunch and snacks for the day. It would also help for me to not feel so rushed and feel like I have to race to work.
