cut back on plastic

It’s that Great Pacific Garbage Patch that has put me over the edge.
Everything comes swathed in heaps of plastic. Bread, cheese, potatoes, whatever.

I am going to try to cut back on my use of the plastic, and start reusing containers and bags, etc. instead of buying more of the same type of thing. I have the reusable cloth bags ready to go in the trunk of my car, but I don’t think of using them until I get into the checkout lane. I’m going to have to put them on the front seat or something to remind myself.

I’m also going to have to find substitutes for all the ziplocks that I use, or at least reduce their use. I really love ziplocks.
