I DID IT! After a year and a half of learning, I can FINALLY drive myself around!
Yay. The nice thing is that I have my own convertible as well. Mwahahahaha.
Good luck to all!

I’m signed up to take my test. I don’t think I’ll pass it the first time because of nerves, but hey…you never know, right?
Parallel parking is NOT my friend…
sigh
Neither is backing up into a space.
Yes. It’s a 1995 Saab convertible….bottle green…I love it!
I have three more driver’s education lessons, and, after that, I can get my license! OMG!
I’m excited!
:D
On Sunday I….
-Drove through a bad accident. (With police directing traffic.)
-Drove to the school and around in the parking lot.
-Drove through McDonough and around the square.
-Drove on 42 back to the bottle shop in Eagles Landing.
-Drove back to the road near my house.
-Doubled back and drove to the Stockbridge WalMart.
-Drove past my old house, over two sets of train tracks (I had to wait for a loooong train on one of them.), and ended up back in Eagles Landing.
-Drove across Hudson Bridge and into the business park.
-Drove back across the bridge.
-Drove home (had to do a lot of changing of lanes…good practice!)
:]
Basically, I drove across the entire county! I was quite thrilled with myself!
YAY!
Lessons start in March.
Guess who parallel parked for the first time and did it almost PERFECTLY today!
WOOT!
I am so proud of myself.
Maybe I will be able to drive before I get out of school…
Yup.
It’s now the law for Georgia students to take driving lessons in order to get their license when they’re 16. However, if they refuse to take them, they can wait until they’re 17 to get it. I would rather get it sooner rather than later.
Also, I think that having a professional in the car would make it less scary! I haven’t even thought about having to drive on the interstate and stuff… ::scared::
In late January, I will have my first opportunity to pass my Georiga Driver’s Test. Although I have not driven in the rain or at night, I really want to try to get it around this time so I can start driving myself to a location of work. The written test does not bother me nearly as much as the physical driving part of it, but I’m overal nervous that I won’t pass. I think, to start off, I need to talk to my parents (especially my mom) about taking me out more often to drive, for I have yet to parallel park…which is SUPER hard…or so I’ve heard.
