learn to swing dance

It’s been two months and I’ve gone as far as learning quite a bit of tuck turns and into some cross hand as well. This is so much fun! I’m still learning but I’m going to mark this complete even though I’ll continue to take new classes and learn more moves. I currently have no partner to practice with outside of class so any followers who’d like to practice in the Chicago area or anywhere near Elk Grove Village in IL, let me know. :)

Just learned the basics for the triple step last night. I’ve had a lot of fun taking these classes. Just wish I had more time for practice in between classes! Hmm… When can I mark this done? Thoughts on that?

I’m beginning classes on March 5th. When are YOU starting?

I’ve always thought that swing was a great looking dance and I’ve always enjoyed watching professionals. I’d like the learn the basics and see if I can get in to it and have some fun. I think it will be a great opportunity to better myself.

I’m wondering if anyone knows a good place to learn either in Chicago or Elk Grove Village Illinois or anywhere near or in between. Don’t mind paying for lessons but I’d like to find a place that has classes starting sometime in the near future. :)
