Follow-up

I have been in touch with Zac from the link in my previous entry and we are in negotiations to do some designs and it looks like this is going to happen. Due to some financial constraints it may take awhile, but I’m pretty stoked that things are moving forward.

New idea

My wife recently decided to get a memorial tattoo for her late father and I realized that I never got around to getting a tattoo myself. I have long been thinking about this and decided to change my original idea of a Star Wars light and dark side. Instead, I wanted to expand my geekery to encompass more sci-fi and video games and be a montage of villains. My favorite TV show is Doctor Who so I thought I’d start with a Dalek, and base it somewhat off of this one:

I’ve decided on my first tattoo. i e-mailed an artist about ideas, but basically I want to get a realistic Yoda on top of my right shoulder. I want him in a fighting stance, and black and white with the exception of his green glowing lightsaber. I want his cloak to curl up down my shoulder.

Eventually, I want to d the same thing on the oposite shoulder with Darth Vader and have the light side and dark side like the angel and devil of conscience on my shoulders.

What do you guys think?
