Improve my posture

The good thing about this goal is that when I have good posture I feel more attractive. The bad thing is that I rarely ever remember to stand/sit/walk straight. Working on it though.

Since Gina taught me the ‘proper way to stand’ or whatever that was, I’ll catch myself standing or walking all funny-like and I’ll straighten up. Then today my mom said something about how she was concerned that my spine was all curvy. That was strange for two reasons. One, she’s not that kind of mom who nitpicks about those sorts of things. And two, I was standing hunched over -well, not even hunched. More like bent over. I could’ve easily reached out and touched the floor. And I actually had my body turned to the side. My shoulder and hip were practically touching. She’s a strange woman. She’s actually very intelligent but sometimes she surprises me with a delightfully dumb moment.

Funny side story… I was just talking about how my mom has dumb moments and I just had one myself. To the right of my screen in the sponsored links, there’s an ad for stethoscope holders. The rest of the links are about posture, but they just stuck a random stethoscope ad in there. Anyways, my dumb moment was that when I read the word ‘stethoscope,’ I finally understood what Seth’s myspace name was all about. Now, don’t think that I actually pondered why Stethoscope is his myspace name but couldn’t figure it out. I just never really thought about it. End of funny (not so funny?) side story.
