Stop SHAC!

SHAC – Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty.
They are a bunch of bullies whose weapon of choice is intimidation. No sane human supports the torture or cruel treatment of another living being but these people seem to value the lives of animals over those of humans.
I do not accept that animal testing is the best way to develop drugs – so in principle I should be on their side. But I find the way they treat the “enemy” disgusting and despicable. They exaggerate and lie! How can you justify that? They make issues personal and threaten families and livelihoods. How is that acceptable? Their information is unreliable and out of date and yet they still make threats. They detail information from someone who went undercover at HLC. They list experiments and companies involved. Fine until you realise that this all happened in 1981! 24 years ago! I think it is completely unacceptable to target people based on what happened 24 years ago!
I work in the medical profession and have heard some of the threats they have made in completely unjustified ways. They imply that vaccines are a danger to human life… When was the last time they saw a child die needlessly from measles? Want to save something? How about you think of all the children starving to death? How about you think of all of the children who are of preventable and curable diseases?
Spend some time in Africa, where mothers will queue for days in the hope of immunising their children. That is where the hope for the future lies.
SHAC are a waste of time and effort. Do something constructive with your time instead. Save humans!
