I took my road test in January and failed (parallel parking, dammit!) and haven’t retested yet. Hopefully I’ll have my license by the beginning of May.
Oh man, I’m a mess.

Oh man, I’m a mess.
I passed the test and got my permit! I drove on the street for the first time tonight – out of my driveway and into my grandfather’s two houses down – and managed to run up on the curb twice, BUT WHATEVER. Now I can practice practice practice.
I take the written test in a month! I think I’m failing Driver’s Ed , though, so I’m not to sure if I’ll pass the first time. Maybe I’m subconsciously sabotaging myself? I really don’t want to drive but I know I have to, and I’m just terrified. Zooming down pavement in a ton of metal and gasoline, surrounded by by other tons of metal and gasoline coming at me from the front! the back! both sides! Danger everywhere! Not only “am I a good driver?” but also “is everyone else a good driver?”. Animals in the street! People in the street! Is my car going to fit in this parking spot? Am I going to make this turn? I hope my car doesn’t go off this bridge! I hope that drunk driver doesn’t hit me! I’M GOING A BIT CRAZY!
