I’m changing this goal from “learn to program C++” to “learn C#”. I’ve realized that I have two goals with this: the first is to get to grips with OOP, and the other is to be able to write simple applications with GUIs. C# is modern, and the ECMA standard has soothed my fears about Microsoft.

Mono is installing as I write.
