present at Riva 2012

This afternoon I printed one of the posters that I will present at Riva. (The other one will have to be an older one that’s already printed.) The work is good, and I’m proud of it.

On Thursday, that’s the day after tomorrow, I leave for Italy. I’m getting quite excited!

Abstracts accepted. Now to do the work!

I’m on for it again. Not for Riva 2010, but for Riva 2012. I’ve already submitted the abstracts, and the boss didn’t say I couldn’t go. Yeay :-)

I’m giving up on this. There’s only about three weeks left before the last deadline for abstracts, and I’m not near any kind of results, or even doing anything that might lead to results.

The 34th International Symposium on Capillary Chromatography (ISCC), the premier meeting for pressure and electrodriven microcolumn separations and related techniques, will be held June 1-4, 2010 in the Congress Centre, Riva del Garda, Italy.

The annual International Symposium on Capillary Chromatography & Electrophoresis is held alternately in the USA and in Europe. This year’s symposium has just come to an end in Portland, OR. Traditionally the European one is held at Riva del Garda, and is colloqually known as the Riva Conference.

I would like to give a presentation a Riva next year. This means that I will have to have a body of good work, well written up. This means that I will need a reliable instrument, and spend some time doing chemistry.
