I got the seat covers a while back, and this morning I fixed the switch for the immobilizer system. I like the result.

Starter

This weekend I replaced the brushes on the starter motor. This did not seem to have made any difference to the problem I had. So next weekend I’ll probably have to do it again.

Higher priority.

This probably the oldest thing on my list, and yet it is still here. It will have to get higher priority now, because the current problem (the stater in sometimes uninclined to start) is potentially immobilizing.

Ironically, I can’t get it done now because one of the other cars is also getting repaired, so we’re a vehicle down and need mine in case of emergency.

Tied down

Today I tied down the cable to the electrical connection of the towing hook. It was drooping untidily.

Scraper

OK, I’ve removed the wood from my car and got it in the workshop, and have already scraped most of the old varnish off. I should be able to do the first layer tomorrow.

Today I got the varnish I need to re-finish the woodwork my car. Better get it done soon, before the rain starts. I don’t need more water damage than there already is.
