..more than four months actually (admitting this somewhat sheepishly). But I made it through 31 entries, so I’m calling it done!

- taking Ammar to the clinic before he left for his dad’s place (he has the flu – cough & runny nose)
- sorting out my monthly budget and paying my major bills on time
- finding some much needed clarity in order to reconcile head and heart
- Today is my mom’s birthday. I pray that God blesses her always and may she be safe and in good health.
- Worked out on the bike first thing in the morning while watching videos courtesy of YouTube
- My bro and sis in-law went grocery shopping, thus relieving me of this weekly chore
- Met S for lunch and I had a great time listening to his stories and life experiences
- Successfully dodged the mortal temptation that was the grand sale in KLCC
- Caught up with my work emails and listing all the stuff I need to do tomorrow (it’s gonna be a busy Monday!)
- Dinner with dad, bro and SIL.. I didn’t take rice but had an extra helping of chicken & vegetables
- Ammar arrived safely from his trip back to his dad’s hometown
- Watched “Empires Strikes Back” and catching my fave scene involving the Jedi Master Yoda. “Do or do not, there is no try”.
- Made it through another work week. I know I make it sound like it sucks, but I’m just being whiny.. don’t mind me.
- Watched the latest Desperate Housewives while working out on my stat bike
- The mini M&Ms I had for dessert. Think I deserve them after that workout. Oh well..
- A girly chat with MystiqueMaya. She’s all excited for me over nothing.. (I keep telling you, nothing’s gonna happen!).
- The weekend that’s finally here. Gosh, how I love weekends. My sacred day of rest and play.
Despite my crappy evening, I am grateful for..
- Finally sorting out Ammar’s school bus
- Finding the payment records needed to (hopefully) settle the confusion involving my candidature

Thankful for..
- the time spent with family, those near and dear
- exercising self-control (barely) despite the lavish spread of food we had today
- an okay day – not that great, but not entirely bad either
- watching “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”, my last flick for 2006.. finally
- the patchy Internet connection, not as good as how it used to be, but at least I’m not entirely offline
- ushering the new year amidst peace and quiet (which should help me get some sound sleep tonight)
Happy New Year 2007 everyone, may you be blessed with peace, happiness and abundance.
Grateful for..
- the cooking spree we did for today, to prepare for tomorrow’s Eidul Adha celebration
- completing my shopping for Ammar’s school books

- watching Amazing Race Asia, delighted to see Zab and JoeJer still in the race
- getting ready for bed before midnight
- looking forward to some bedtime reading, hoping to finish my current read
It’s actually 12:45PM on 24th December, but I’m particularly grateful for these..
- Last night, finishing my forth edit on my thesis writeup.. took me longer that I thought too.. but finally, that’s out of the way now.
- Making it to my girlfriend’s lunch do at her home.. the food was great and her family is always delightful company
- Dropping by my sister’s house to fetch a few stuff, played with my nephews and even managed to get some sleep while she prepared steam bananas for tea (yum!)
- A quiet evening at home, watching “Mastermind” on cable TV. It was a surprisingly enjoyable flick and the teen hero looked so familiar. Thought he was Edward Furlong, but when the credits rolled he was actually the kid who played David’s son in Angel.
- Getting a solid none hours worth of sleep and I managed to kick the nagging headache I had yesterday.
