These things have helped me to start the day and stop reseting my alarm!
1. Turn your your alarm to a radio station instead of annoying beeping. Even if you have a CD setting, use the radio or you’ll learn to hate whatever song you put in. A radio station that gets your motor going!
2. Turn the station up LOUD! Not like crazy annoying loud but loud enough that when it kicks on there aint no denying it. This pops you out of sleep, and if you did #1, then chances are its a good song you wanted loud anyways!
3. Set your alarm AWAY from you, a distance that you have to walk to, like across the room, but definitly NOT in arms reach. Hopefully if #1 and #2 work out well, you’ll be dancing to the alarm =D
4. Sleep habits, get some good ones. If you have robbed yourself of sleep, sleep in intrevals of 3 hours, not 4, not 2—> 3. This is because your REM sleep cycles this way, and believe me when I say you do NOT want to wake up in the middle of a REM cycle. It aint pretty.
