the aim was to explore and idea i had, had a bit of fun working on it and see what happens. the main reason for starting this, was to use it as a way to make sure i keep on working on my photography, but when i told people about my idea, many said it could be really popular, so i thought, we’ll see… i must say a lot has happened and i’ve been surprised by all the positive feedback i’ve received. it’s weird to hear people say your work is fantastic, because it’s only my work and i find it difficult to see what they see in it. it’s only me expressing myself and my opinions sometimes. it’s something that i thought was ok and kinda comes to me naturally, i didn’t go out to make it fantastic, just to enjoy myself and express myself the way i want. i have also received feedback from some well respected industry pros, all of whom say the idea is fabulous, very unique and i should be able to build it into a really really populary thing if i just keep at it. that’s the thing, i must keep working on it. it’s still fun and gets me thinking creatively. the brand image is not one that took me time to develop, in fact it’s pretty much just what came naturally to me at the time. however, i change and want to use different styles, so not sure what happens when i get bored with it. wel, maybe it’s too early to worry about that. i’ll just keep on doing it because i still enjoy it. when i stop enjoying it, i’ll re-think things then. i guess i also have to start doing a little bit of planning in terms of where this is going, but not too much…
this project has led me to consider a completely different project, a charity project in the society that i think could be a cool thing to do. just need to think about how to go about it.
