keep my friends close to me

my group was this awesome foursome, like sisterhood of the traveling pants style
now we are all going to different colleges, which is fine
and my best friend is now in spain, which is tough
i am failing at this.
i want people to enjoy their own lives, but why shouldn’t i still be a part of it just because i am far away. we are all so different and that’s why we had so much fun together, we completed each other, and yet people are willing to just plow on to the next chapter of their lives cutting all ties to our amazing memories….why.
