It’s been at least a year since I’ve had a regular sleep schedule. I had a manic episode and didn’t feel the need to sleep more than a couple of hours every other night – this went on for about 2-3 months at least – I don’t remember. Now my body and brain are so programmed not to sleep it’s hard for me to actually go to bed. I’ve discovered that if I just lie down I will fall asleep. I’m trying very very hard to correct this problem. I think now I’m in a constant state of sleep deprivation, and all because I “forget” or don’t want to go to bed, not because I can’t sleep.
