I made a promise to myself when I was about eight years old, before I understood corporations, CEOs, corporate ladders, steady jobs, and the unpleasant drudgery of working in the Machine Called Disney, that if I didn’t own Disneyland by the time I was 30, I would change my name to Walt Disney.
Suffice to say, I do not own Disneyland. I am 30. I think I have until January 15th of 2006 to figure out how to Own Disneyland or there are going to be some complicated legal name issues to deal with.
Get used to calling me Walt.
