make my home so darn comforting that everyone who enters falls into a zen coma

so hard to keep things tidy with a small space and so much stuff! I am going to have to work on my clutter goal even more to make this goal work! This is “TayLora’s space” as I call it cause she is the one who pends the most time there. It is a sectioned fpart of the living room that she likes to retreat to for reading and snuggling with the cat- here is the cat without her.. lol

will be directly linked to my de-clutter goal for it it pretty hard to do this one without the other.. I have deceided I am going to start in certain places.. take pictures and see how I feel about them and what I can do to change them. This is pretty old place and it has MANY problems and flaws… but you gotta work with what you have right?

re-arrange the living room again for summer when we can’t watch tv at all (we haven’t had tv for 4 years now – but we still sometimes watch dvd’s) but not in the summer that will be a good step towards having at least that part of the house more relaxing and comfortable;)

when my home was just that. Even though I have many things that would scare most people in the house they still used to say.. “wow, your home is so warm and inviting” Now I rarely hear that – A friend not too long back did tell me that my living room felt “warm and comforting like a mothers womb, makes me want to curl up and sleep”. But commnets like that now are few and far between- probably due to the chaos. My house is always a form a chaos, but lately it just looks messy.. I tore it apart 2-3 weeks back and re-arragned every room in the house cept the kitchen and living room, finally tore out the toilet to make more room for the sawdust toilet, but I need to get everything back in it’s place so that my company and myself has that warm inviting feeling again.
