Completely gutte the old one; replaced a load bearing wall and the ancient “window” if you can call it that, tore out the hideous cupboard assemblage it had and installed new ones, leveled the floor and tiled it, fixed the walls, painted, replaced part of the ceiling, installed a ceiling fan…just gotta do the sink and countertop now.
