Being 32, married and childless can make this difficult at times. many clubs and group activities, at my age tend to fall under the “family fun” catagory, singles or child haters.
Yes – believe it or not I have found a child free group. However, they tend to want people who are childless and not thinking of having any (aka – not child friendly).
I do not dislike children. I was a teacher and a child care provider. We have just decided that at this time we don’t want to start a family.
Friends with children tend to assume that childless couples don’t want to do family oriented activities. I have made it clear – I don’t mind it at all.
It obviously means working out tight schedules for parents though.
Either way – I’m pressing on. :)
