walk a 5k

Girls Run

This is the last 5k I did. I may do it again this coming October, if i feel I have the stamina. I could just do the 1 mile walk?!

The Run for Children’s Guild 6th Annual Run continues. Activities include a 5K run and a one-mile run/walk for kids. Adult entrants are eligible to win a seven-day cruise.

It’s been a long time since I walked a 5k. The last one was for Seattle Children’s Hospital and I came in dead last – LOL

BUT – I finished! (I was unaware this one was timed)

I’m thinking about “training” for the 2005 Toys for Tots Trot! in Seattle during the month of November.

That gives me three months or so.
