Apparently my copy of “the Catcher in the Rye” came and went.
So, I purchased two at Borders, yesterday. They were four bucks each.

I read this back in ‘88 as required reading for summer. I procrastinated all summer long. However, once I started – I couldn’t put it down. It is by far one of my favorite books. Can I remember what most of it is about? NO…Chinese last emperor…farmer..wife = O-lan….I will read it again.
“Sula”
by Toni Morrison
I have never read this book or any Toni Morrison book. I have heard a lot about what a wonderful author she is. I’m looking forward to it. I think I’ll begin with this novel since I have read “The Good Earth”.
Meanwhile, I have put “the Catcher in the Rye” back on hold.
