I’m finally in a good routine of drinking plenty of water throughout the day both at work and at home. Even though I’m not doing anything else differently right now, this is helping with my health because I don’t drink soda nearly as much when I’m guzzling the H2O.
The key for me is to have cold water readily available. It’s really tough for me to drink water at room temperature. Additionally, I’ve been taking some supplements that require you drink 8 oz of water, so I usually try and drink at least 20.

I have made it part of my morning work routine to fill up my 32 oz red Nalgene bottle within the first half hour of arriving and making sure that I finish it off before the end of the day (and preferrably by the end of lunch and before the water gets warm). Sticking with this routine shouldn’t be too difficult.
Now I just have to figure out a routine at home I can follow when I’m not on a schedule like I am at work.
