My 2nd day of watery goodness. I felt sort of jittery earlier and I think it might have been too much caffeine so I’ve been drinking water since then. I haven’t kept count but I’ll just keep sipping away till I feel well-hydrated.

I’d forgotten about this goal but I did unexpectedly well today without being conscious of it.
I didn’t really keep a count but I’m pretty sure I drank about 2 litres of water today so I’m going to count it as a success. I’ll probably drink another pint of water before I go to bed just to make sure.
I’ve been doing reasonably well with some days better than others.
I’m going to define this goal as drinking at least 1.5L water daily and I’ll drink more if I need it because of hot weather or exercise. If I can keep this up for 4 weeks, then I’ll mark this goal done. If I slip up, then no problem – I’ll just start over.
So today is Day 1 and I’ll post back later with my progress.
I was more in the mood for drinking tea but I consciously drank water and I enjoyed it more as the day went on. I guess I drank about 1.5l which was fine as it wasn’t hot and I wasn’t exercising.
I have a pint of water sitting in front of me so I’ll try to be good with this today.
Oh dear. This was so easy when it was warm. I couldn’t drink enough water. But now I’m chilly and am back to wanting tea.
Well I felt a lot better when I was drinking litres of water so I’m consciously trying to drink more today. So far I’ve had about half a litre and I’ll aim for another litre before the end of the day.
Once I’m back in the habit it’ll be easier – I hope!
I did well with my water intake yesterday. I kept a pint glass on the go all day and I’m guessing I drank about 3L. I guess I needed it as it was very warm. I didn’t drink it consciously – just kept drinking as I felt like it.
Lets hope I do the same today. :-)
Ha! So much for 1.5L! I’m drinking waaaay more than that cos I it’s warm and I’m feeling thirsty. I haven’t had any tea today or yesterday – am just not feeling like it. I think I’m just getting used to it. The weather is a major factor. Normally it’s so cold here in Ireland that I want a warm drink but right now the sun is spltting the stones and I’m knocking back several litres a day. I’m not really counting how much but just going with what my body seems to need.
