go to more concerts

went to The Harley and saw 3 bands live Oh My Word, Beautiful Balloon and No Drinks On The Dancefloor. They were all good bands. Also had a mince pie, ‘cause they gave free mince pie when you got a glass of Mulled Wine at the bar. Plus, ‘Oh My Word’ had a ‘crisps interlude’ where they gave some crisps to the audience, I was near the front so managed to get a packet of Prawn Cocktail crisps! It was cool.

Saw Opeth live at Manchester Academy and dad got me an Opeth t-shirt (as a Christmas present)!

Today booked to see Chuckle Brothers live next year! It’s a live show not a concert, but it’s still cool and wanted to mention it here. I saw them live in 2007 and it was funny.

Plus I am going to see Opeth in Manchester later this month!

Saw a band live called 28 Costumes, they were good, so I added them on Myspace. It was £4, there were 2 other bands but I missed them.

I got back not that long ago from seeing Mindless Self Indulgence live! Also, back in January I saw Nine Black Alps live (3rd time I’ve seen them live!).

I’ve seen some great bands over the years – Idiot Pilot, Nine Black Alps (as I said), Linkin Park and I went to Download festival last year, so saw several bands. There are others but I can’t think right now.

Anyway, I do enjoy concerts if it’s music I like a lot, and think it’d be cool to go to more.
