Had a nice ‘puy lentil & vine ripened tomato soup’. It said 2 of 5 a day = 1/2 a pot, so there was a lot of vegetables in it!
the other day I had a couple of cherry tomatoes, plus I bought a carton of Fruit Juice the other day (blood orange juice, Sanguinello) and I also bought a vegetable soup pot thing. Both were very nice (and when I was in Sainsburys, where I got them from, I even bought a red nose for red nose day/comic relief which is this Friday). I’ve just had a satsuma, which was nice.
Mum bought some more fruit, so I ate: 2 plums, a banana, a kiwi fruit, and also had a little raspberries and blueberries.
today for a snack I had a tomato, and then an orange, plus had some veg with my veggie sausages for tea. Yesterday tea I ate in a restaurant, I had veg lasagne and some veggies, plus a yorkshire pudding.
I imagine I must eat a fair amount (at least sometimes) because I’m vegetarian. I do notice some of my meals are just ‘veg sausages and chips’, or something, though (potatoe is a vegetable though). I do sometimes have fruit too, I remember I had a plum awhile ago as a snack. Anyway, today I had some baby plum tomatoes (I do like tomatoes a lot anyway) and an orange. Plus I had vegetables with my tea (which was veg sausages, roast potatoes, and gravy). I had beans (on toast) today too.
Thinking of this as well though, I also really love olives and strawberries. Plus I have vegetarian pizza sometimes, which instead of having meat on has vegetables!
