Try not to be a consumer

It seems like this is the main purpose so many of us have in life anymore…consuming what ever we are told we must have…to be cool, to be happy, to get laid. Sad thing is we are really good at it and we aren’t given a lot of other options…I’d like to come up with some other way to describe my role in society.
