Become fluent in more than one language

If you can speak three languages fluently, Oh you’re trilingual! And if you can speak two languages, sure enough you’re bilingual. But if you can speak only one language, you’re an American!

speak – read – write English as my second and Thai as a first. I think I speak English and Thai fluently, though some might disagree about that at times. :D I can speak un peu francais aussi. I’m functionally illiterate in Turkish, but understand a smattering of it. I can probably understand Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Laos, Spanish, Danish, a bit German and Italian if someone speaks to me in either, and of course, I would respond in English or Thai. :D
