I think it’s safe to say that I’ve stuck with my plan to read more, I have been in a constant state of reading something for a year now, I think this is a good point to say i’ve done it. I hope to continue now…

This is sort of an open ended thing, so i’m not sure exactly when I will have acomplished it. But I have read more books than I usually do. I read a couple John Grisham books, Bleachers, and A Time To Kill. Now I’m reading Salt. I’ve made it a goal topick out another book as soon as I finish one, so I’m constantly in a state of reading something.
I just finished David McCullough’s biography of John Adams, The first two parts of the book are actually pretty exciting, and interesting, but the last part just dragged on and on. The last 300 pages or so, John adams in 80 some years old, how exciting is it to read about an old guy sitting around being old.
Between my wife and I, we probably own hundreds of books. Just recently we started to catalog them just to see exactly how many we had, which ones we’ve read, and which ones we could get rid of. I realized that I’ve only read a small fraction of the books that I own, and yet there are more that I still want. So I’ll just have to read more often.
