read a book once a month

well i went to the library the other day and got this memoir of a jewish girl and her survival story at shindlers. it should be a fast read, although its not very well written, im sure its a decent story.

also picked up a book on zapatistas and chiapas mexico.

so i was helping my friend drunkenly paint her room when i came across this book Johnny Got His Gun. I asked if I coudl borrow it, and promptly opened it up as soon as i got home. It is one of the best books i have ever read. I thought it was amazing, it really is one of the best anti-war pieces of literature around. you can feel exactly what hes going through. i cried during the middle part of the book when he is explaining what all the soldiers died for. anyways, it was a great book.
