shrimp creole 2 years ago

a few days ago i made chrimp creole. i looked up a whole bunch of recipes online but in the end i just kinda used the basics and didnt measure anything at all. it turned out pretty fucking good for first timing it i think. heres the ingredients:

can tomato sauce
a little bit of water
cayenne pepper
3 jalepenos
1 green bell pepper
3/4 of an onion
5 cloves of garlic
4 or 5 sticks of celery
1 fresh tomato
bay leaves
black pepper
parsley
basil
thyme
shrimp
rice
worscetshire sauce

next time i will add habenero peppers, red and yellow bell peppers, more cayenne pepper, more fresh celery and tomato, and throw in a little flour to thicken it up a little bit. there was also definately not enough garlic

Stuffed Burgers 2 years ago

Me an Brian try to cook a meal at least once a week. Last week for Fourth of July, we grilled the shit out of some food!

We grilled up some stuffed burgers which included cheese, garlic and bacon. We then grilled up some corn on the cob (which was 1$ for 4 ears!) and some pineapple. We also got a watermelon for everyone. It was really filling and only cost 30$ for enough food to to make 6 giant burgers, 8 ears of corn, 6 bratworsts, and a 17 pound watermelon.
