Alright, since I’ve got more energy lately and some time before work, I’m going to try this again. While I was gone, the website I’d been using made some changes to the plan because it was slightly unbalanced. I’m going to keep using that site with the new plan. And I’m going to start back in the middle of the week I was on. I started with week 3 day 2, and did really well until the last set… think I am going to repeat this day. Anyway, looks like I did a total of 100 pushups with about 90 seconds rest between the following sets(not too bad considering how long it had been… I feared worse)

Week 3 - Day 3

I didn’t post this last night… not sure why… anyway this time all five sets had at least 20 pushups in them(and one had 30). Which is crazy to think about since a few weeks ago I collapsed exhausted on the floor after 15.
Anyway, there were a total of 121 pushups in the following sets, with about 2 minutes rest between each set.

Week 3 - day 2

I can tell that my muscles are getting visibly bigger… and my posture is getting better too. Still quite a bit of room for improvement in both areas, but seeing progress is nice. I don’t have a scale… so I have really no idea if I’ve been gaining weight, though I assume I’ve gained at least some. I also have no idea how much I weighed when I started these pushups…
Anyway, tonight I did the following sets with about 90 or so seconds of rest inbetween(I needed a bit more rest between a couple of them). This time it totals up to 105 pushups, so I finally broke the 100 mark! Now onward to 100 consecutive ones(and beyond)!

Well, after not feeling well last week, I started back this week. Week three seems to ramp up quite a bit after week two.
Today, I did the following sets with 60 seconds of rest inbetween… it adds up to a total of 99 pushups… after the first couple sets I had plans to do an extra one on the last set to make an even hundred… but it was all I could do to get the 99th one done.

Sick day :(

I’m sick today and don’t feel like I have the strength to do the pushups… but I wanted to make a post because this weekend even though I drove down to Killeen, Texas, I did my test to see what the max number I can do consecutively is.
I was able to do 25… and honestly think I could have done more if it hadn’t already been such a long day… but even then 25 is 10 more than my max when I started this.
I was hoping that after this weekend I’d be back to starting my weeks on a Monday again… but I guess not lol.

Today I did a total of 75 pushups… which is cool because I can see it getting closer to the elusive 100. Even though I’m still not doing them consecutively it will be nice to be able to do 100 non-consecutive pushups lol. Anyway, I did the following sets with 120 seconds of rest between each set:

Week 2 apparently starts with less pushups than week 1 ended with. It also started back at 60 seconds between sets… I did a total of 55 in the following sets:

Week 1 Day 3?

Not entirely sure what happened… when Friday got here somehow I completely forgot to do this and didn’t remember until today. Luckily I don’t seem to have lost much ground like I expected. I was able to pick up where I started… and had the added benefit of my muscles not still being sore while I was trying to do pushups.
This time I was able to do 68 pushups total, with 120 seconds between the following 5 sets:

The fact that I was able to do 20 after already doing 4 sets, shows that I’ve already improved a lot over my initial max of 15.

I was surprised that there already seems to be a noticeable difference in how hard they are to do. I especially expected it to be harder than it was today since I’m still sore from Monday. I was able to do a total of 15 more pushups today than I did Monday though. Today, there was a 90 second rest between the following sets:
