I don’t have my exercise equipment in my apartment yet, but I do have my bike. The past couple of nights, I’ve gone and ridden around the campus once and then gone out to this big empty parking lot and done several loops on it. It is sloped just right to give a challenge one direection and a rest the other way. I love the feeling my legs give me by the end telling me to stop, but forcing them to push just a bit longer.
Plus it gives me time to think or just sing along with the music on my mp3 player with the wind blowing in my face.

My exercise schedule is now three times a week(Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) rather than five days a week. Once I get more used to it, I may try to switch it back.

I did my first workout early this morning(or yesterday morning by now depending on your time zone). My arms and shoulders feel like lead weights, but it’s a good feeling.
I found an excercise schedule I had used before, and am planning to use it. My legs and abs are next up on the list.
My back actually hurts in a bad way, but it was like that before I started working out… one of the reasons I decided to do this.

I want to do this for a few reasons. Other than just being able to do certain things/do them easier, I’ve got scoliosis(sp?) along with some other things that make me thing it would better my health/quality of life if I had more muscle.
I’ve got some excercise equipment, and used it for a while, but then I got really sick and stopped using it. I need to start back though.
