Actually was sick when I made my last entry on here… I’ve been gradually getting over it. But it’s kept me from doing much exercising or anything.
I got a package from Amazon today though, and it had a scale in it.
So now I at least know where I’m starting at.
Though I think I’ve heard it’s better to weigh yourself in the morning, so I might get a more accurate reading in the morning.
And I think I’m over this sickness enough that I can start exercising a little more.

I’ve wanted to do this a few times, but it’s easy to get discouraged about it or not get started since I don’t have a scale to monitor progress with.
I honestly have no idea how much I weigh right now. So I don’t know where I’m starting at yet. But I’m sure I could gain 20 pounds and still be fairly skinny.
And so that I’ll be able to monitor progress and figure out when I’ve actually completed this goal, I ordered a scale on Amazon a little bit ago. Once it comes, I’ll be able to see where I’m at and have periodic “weigh ins” to see how I’m progressing.

Not long after I added this goal, my health took a nose dive(not that it was good to begin with), and I actually lost some weight. I got down to 130 lbs.
My health is doing great now, and I’m starting to work out and wanted a baseline weight so I could gauge progress. So, I weighed myself today expecting to still be somewhere in the 130-135 range, and to my surprise I was all the way up at 140 lbs.
So I guess if I make it to 150 I will have gained 20 pounds from my lowest point, but to gain 20 from where I started, I would need 155. It doesn’t make that much of a difference, I plan to gain more from there. Being 6’4”, I’ll still be pretty skinny at 155 lol. Plus, it’s no big deal since the weight I’m trying to gain is muscle…
Actually, I just found a calculator thing on the internet and apparently a healthy weight range for someone my height is 152-205, so I would be at the low end of healthy.

Kind of cool to see other people on here doing this.
I’m 6’3”-6’4” tall, and only weigh around 135 lbs. So I’m VERY skinny. I would love to gain 20 pounds, and would probably still be pretty skinny. I’m starting to excercise more again today, so that should help.
