explore the city i live in

Once the weather gets a little warmer, I’m going to go out and take pictures of “downtown”. After that, I think I can honestly say I’ve explored my town, since I’ve taken pictures of every other part of it. :P

Wandered around from my house, I went to the right and around quite a bit, down to the church, conversed with one of my dad’s friends. Went out to the park and the new community center. I haven’t been out there since I played softball about eight years ago, and now all the fields are overgrown and one is gone entirely and replaced by the community center. The pool building’s weird paintings are also painted over. Suck!

Made it to the other side of the park before it rained. Also had a car pass me when I was walking on the edge of town and threw a huge cup of water at me and soaked the back of my shirt. Ass.

About 1/3 done with the town now.

It’s actually kind of sad how little I know about the town I live in. I need to get back into the habit of riding my bike around like I did when I was little and actually pay attention to my surroundings. The town is probably going to start wrecking a few more things soon, (and our town has a bad history of fires), so I want to take pictures to remember things by.

Also, there’s a bunch of restaurants I’ve never eaten at before.
