I feel like now that I’m in college my family takes me more seriously. I’ve grown so much in the past year, I really feel like I’m more on their level now. I need to put in the effort to call and visit them, but my family is one of my top priorities right now.
I also think that I can finally get to know them because I’ve taken my brothers down off their pedestals. I still look up to them and admire them, but I now see them as falible humans.
