I will be getting steady work now as a sub teacher. But until my first paycheck arrives, I am not expecting much….

is selling vintage clothes online, at various auction/market places. So far, not making enough profit to live on, but am actually making a profit instead of just losing money. I also plan on becoming a substitute teacher as soon as I get certified (which is soon). Between that and picking up more freelance graphic design work (which I have become very disillusioned about), I should be able to support myself while this business grows. I do see long-term potential for it – the idea of never going back to an office also makes me happy.

But just in case, I am still turning in apps & sending out resumes….

and nearly a year since my own business failed…..argh. I’m really bummed right now because I applied for one of those census jobs, and I scored very well on 2 tests (one being a supervisor test), and they never called me again. I know 3 other people who got called & hired – and one of them is a schizophrenic! Another is a 16 yr old with no work experience. Seriously – what’s wrong with ME?!!!
