A serious step

Finally..I gave up learning the language in an unscheduled way. I registered my self, and have joined corso di Italiano since 2 weeks ago. It’s a 3-hours once a week weekend class and it will be going on in 3 months!!
Other than that, I’m glad my Italian contacts have been patient enough to help me.

Now with audio help

Went to Kinokuniya book store on Friday.
I always looked for language books here, so that’s what I did.
Went to Italian section, not so many choice of books.
I ended up choosing the less expenssive one but with CD included.
It’s “Quick & Easy Italian” published by Kudos.

I immediately put on the CD when I got into my car. The narrator voice is so clear and she speaks English with British accent. This is great! I love Italian language and I also love Brisith accent!

I know I’m a very moody person, but I hope this book with audio will re-motivate me.
So far, my Italian learning tools are:
  • Pocket-size phrase book given by my friend Hitoshi, this is my first Italian language book ever.
  • my old course book, but I don’t really want to refer from this, it’s not practical for self-study language learning.
  • Dictionary Italian/ English, English/Italian by Webster’s New World. I think I need a more comprehensive one, the one with sentence examples.
  • Italian Grammar, Marcel Danesi, PhD. I like this one, pocket size book but it’s all-over.
  • Italian Verbs, Brockhampton Reference. I’m looking for the one from Barron’s, since my French Verbs book from Barron’s is very good.

For the second time

I took a course once but only for a very short time.
Still have some words in my head but they’re going away…

I think some audios will help. I will try to find one at the bood store soon

....or later…
but I will learn this language again
